First, I must state, I do not write my articles to make money; I really do want to either teach or inspire you. If that is your reason for reading one of my articles, than I am glad I could have some sort of positive impact on your life.

I also write articles to establish my credibility. I am, quite literally, a professional writer. I write résumés with my mother for our family-owned-and-operated business "Hired Résumé Service." In addition, I was the news editor of the University of Wisconsin-Stout's student newspaper, the Stoutonia. Next year, I will be the opinions editor, which is what I wanted to do in the first place, but they offered me the slightly-higher-paying job as news editor instead.
